Meet Venessa E. Wyche
Vanessa Wyche is a NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration Head of Johnson Space Center who has been recognised for her work in STEM, and for being the first Black woman to lead a NASA Center. What she’s known for:
- Leading NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas
- Being a strong advocate for STEM education
- Serving on the board of trustees for the American Institute of Physics Foundation
- Being a member of the National Academy of Engineering
- Receiving the Presidential Rank Award and multiple NASA medals
