Here are my top three music listening apps.

Spotify

Spotify, apps, music

Spotify is my go-to digital music service that gives you access to over 40 million songs and podcasts. You can browse by genre and moods and create your own playlists. I’m happy with the free version, but you can pay a subscription to have unlimited skips and ad-free listening. The streaming platform was created way back in 2008 and is based in Sweden. Spotify provides DRM-protected music and podcasts from record labels and media companies.

SoundCloud is a similar streaming platform for music and podcasts. SoundCloud Go+ allows you to save unlimited tracks for offline listening, no advertisements, high-quality audio and full access to the full catalogue. The platform enables users to upload, promote and share their own audio resulting in over 200 million songs. SoundCloud is based in Berlin, Germany.
