On Tuesday, October 15, Myles Lawlor, General Manager of Technology and Product at Alternaleaf, will take the stage at a special Women Love Tech event at SXSW Sydney. Joining fellow experts Chiara Longhi from AWS and Rebecca Zeus, CEO of BizCubed, Myles will offer his insights on tech innovation, leadership, and the future of digital health.

Under his leadership, Montu has become Australia’s largest health tech business, redefining alternative healthcare through cutting-edge digital solutions for Alternaleaf.

Myles’ career spans leadership roles at Deloitte, IBM, and YouFoodz, with a focus on IT strategies, digital health, and cloud computing. His extensive experience in digital strategy and business transformation makes him a leading voice in these fields. With a background that covers both enterprise and consumer technology, Myles has continually demonstrated his ability to drive large-scale innovation.

Before joining Montu, Myles served as the Chief Technology Officer at YouFoodz, where he led transformative tech initiatives. His experience in scaling operations and implementing IT strategies has helped numerous businesses, both large and small, thrive in an increasingly digital world. At Montu and Alternaleaf, his leadership has been pivotal in driving the company’s patient-first technology roadmap and delivering sustainable growth. 

A Global Perspective on Technology

Myles has a strong academic foundation with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Griffith College in Dublin, Ireland. His global career has included work across Australia, Europe, and Asia. A fascinating highlight of his early career includes contributing to the ESO Very Large Telescope project, showcasing his passion for innovative, groundbreaking technologies.
