As Avanade’s Australia General Manager, Laura Malcolm leads a team of more than 600 professionals based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney to accelerate the company’s growth and sustain its market leadership in the region. Laura launched her Avanade career seven years ago as its Australia Chief Technology Officer. Since then, Laura spent time in London as Avanade’s UK Digital Lead, UK and Ireland (UKI) Chief Operating Officer, and Global Advisory Practice Lead. Laura returned to Sydney in March 2020 to take on the role as Avanade’s Growth Markets Growth & Strategy Lead, helping the business to pivot successfully to new solutions and services that help clients respond to the pandemic and activating Avanade’s five-year global strategy in Growth Markets. Laura took on the role on Australia General Manager in September 2021. Laura lives in Sydney with her husband and two children.
