Last September, the world held its breath in anticipation as Apple released their newest additions to their iPhone series: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X. While iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus were released, iPhone fans celebrated news of the global release of iPhone X.

Australians Eyeing on iPhone X Release

Since the announcement, Aussies have been scouring the web for the official global release date of Apple’s newest gadget. And not that it’s officially in the market, Australians and people all over the world are looking for ways to save and get the latest smartphone.

Is iPhone X On Sale this Black Friday?

Because November is a month for a lot of biggest sales events, it’s an opportunity for shoppers around the globe to look forward to Black Friday as well.

In Australia last year, many shoppers benefited from discounts on iPhones. They saved about 10.2% on iPhone 7 and 2.4% on iPhone 7 plus. Now, they are wondering if iPhone X will be on the list this year.

Black-friday.sale, a specialised platform in Black Friday deals, has looked into the discounts from Black Friday 2016 to see the probability of getting an iPhone on discount during Black Friday this year. However, these predictions are purely a forecast based on last years’ data and are not confirmed.

On the other hand, the American deal-tracker Best Black Friday is expecting Apple’s new offerings to go on discount this year in the US, with discounts of up to 4% for iPhone 8, 4.2% for iPhone 8 Plus, and 5% for iPhone X.

As for Australian shoppers, based on last year’s data, it’s most likely predicted that iPhones will have the following discounts during Black Friday:

  • iPhone X: up to 3.7% discount of the release price.
  • iPhone 8 Plus: up to 3.3% discount of the release price
  • iPhone 8: up to 7.1% discount of the release price

Should shoppers still look forward for Black Friday for the latest iPhone discounts? We will definitely say YES!
