With a net worth of $93.1 billion USD (Forbes), Jeff Bezos once again became the richest person beating fellow Seattle resident, Bill Gates.
In addition to owning Amazon, Jeff Bezos is also the owner of The Washington Post and an aerospace company, Blue Origin.
So we are a tad curious about the daily grind of this tech mogul so Women Love Tech has taken a look at a typical day of this incredible visionary:
Bezos wakes up every morning naturally without the aid of an alarm clock. He firmly believes in having enough rest and getting enough shut-eye.
He always starts his day with a healthy breakfast together with his wife novelist Mackenzie Bezos.
He never schedules early morning meetings in order for him to spend quality time with his wife Mackenzie and their four children.
Bezos only meets Amazon investors for six hours a year.
Bezos employs a “two pizza rule” whenever he calls for a meeting. He never organizes meeting where two pizzas couldn’t feed the entire group.
He used to be an occasional explosive boss but there are rumours that he hired an executive coach to “help tone him down”.
He sets a “frugal” tone at Amazon, which means he doesn’t throw perks around such as therapeutic massages or a free lunch at employees.
He has a weird taste for dishes. During a meeting with Woot founder Matt Rutledge, he ordered octopus with potatoes, bacon, green garlic yogurt and eggs for breakfast.
He has a fondness for food trucks. In 2014, he told Business Insider Editor-in-Chief Henry Blodget about a phenomenal popular truck outside of Amazon’s headquarters. “It’s out of control, actually,” he said.
He finds washing the dishes the sexiest thing he does.
It is unclear if the Amazon CEO has a workout routine but at a recent conference, commenters noticed his muscular appearance and Bezos elicited comparisons to Vin Diesel.
The Amazon CEO is a geek by heart and has admitted he is a fan of Star Trek. Bezos even made a surprise cameo in the 2016 film, “Star Trek Beyond.”

He also has a space-related hobby: gliding about in a submarine looking for old NASA rockets. He often takes his kids on an adventure.
He makes sure he has enough rest – 8 hours worth of sleep every night.
