In an effort to make your life simpler. Hello Table creates a shopping list from recipes in the Summer Table cookbook.
– Every recipe has a QR code, a quick scan generates a shopping list for that recipe on your phone.
– You can then cross off the items you already have and go shopping.
– If you are really organised and decide on your menu plan for the week, you can scan a number of recipes to create a comprehensive shopping list of all the items you will need, sorted within the supermarket sections.
– It even allows you to add items to your list like milk or bread.

Australian Jodie Blight’s App turns recipes into shopping lists Melbourne mother of two, Jodie Blight, has just launched Summer Table, a cookbook to solve the dinner dilemma and the shopping dilemma too!
Jodie’s book draws on her experiences of having been a high flyer in finance, turned full-time mother of two young boys, living in and out of Australia. For four years Jodie and her family lived in a small Dutch village where the supermarket closed at 5 pm, there were no takeaway food shops, and it rained for 9 months of the year. Jodie was forced to creatively plan and prepare her family meals. This is where the concept of Summer Table was born.
She turned the humble left over from being just one more thing taking up space in the fridge, into a fantastic meal – transforming left over slow-roasted lamb shoulder into an exotic Moroccan Lamb feast or a quick
Lamb Sharwarma. Most recipes take less than 20 minutes to prep and cook, helping time-poor people ensure their family get their 5 veg a day in a delicious and enjoyable way.
