Ever wished you could have the energy, care, wisdom and love of a mother on tap?

Well, the new Mums & Co AI-driven chatbot is here to help.

Developed in only a few short weeks as part of the Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce supporting Australian business mums through COVID-19, the chatbot is a technologically enabled, always on, always learning uniquely accessible portal to resources most needed for women in business now.

Mums & Co rapidly marshalled the Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce in late March and is joined by 18 expert members across HR, legal, technology, marketing, wellbeing and parenting across corporate, small business and not for profits including Women in AI, Beyond Blue, Hall & Wilcox, CGU, Employee Matters, Insurance AdviserNet, Salesforce, Pointer Remote Roles, Little Scribe, Yarnly.AI, Simply Kids, Box Advisory Services, Kiindred, Sarah Nelson Advisory, Paris Cutler Consulting, Qualtrics and CFOs on Demand.

The chatbot, launched today 20 April is best experienced 1:1 on a smartphone, the Facebook Messenger chatbot LINK: https://m.me/ausmumsco?ref=w10054184 provides information and resources specific to each individual business stage, sector, location and their family situation.

Our Mums & Co community has shared that during these uncertain times they now, more than ever, need ongoing support. Much like motherhood and small business itself, the chatbot is always on, always learning, always giving back.

It ensures our members are supported in the time they need it, with the ability to access resources such as expert webinars, information and strategic guidance that have been tailored to guide them through this difficult time – even at 3am.

COVID-19 has proven the catalyst for digital transformation for many businesses. What would have normally taken six months to perfectly execute, the Mums & CoVID-19 taskforce has launched their campaign of support and AI driven chatbot in just less than three weeks.

Women in AI Education Ambassador for Australia and Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce champion Angela Kim says that we’re witnessing the huge uptake of chatbots. “The 2019 Gartner CIO Survey identified chatbots are rapidly becoming part of business. Chatbots are increasingly the behavioural trend and supplement faster, better and more efficient collaboration.”

Mums & Co community and Taskforce member Aoife O’Connell is the Founder and Director of Yarnly.ai SMART team – the agency behind the Mums & CoVID19 chatbot. She added:

Mums and Co

“The experience is an always on tour guide and handbook for your business at this tough time. Using the chatbot and emerging technology in this way is enabling Australian business mums to get the right information from verified sources; it allows mums to focus and have a conversation about their business on their terms and in their time in a way that is memorable and meaningful”.

The more mums visit and interact with the chatbot, the better and smarter the chatbot will become. In particular, the first 100 responses will be used to guide ongoing development and future resources of the Mums & CoVID19 Taskforce.

The intent is to learn and enhance the capability as we go, but right now our main focus is to be where Mums are when they need us, and a chatbot is our perfect partner as our digital cheerleader to this at scale.
