I love travelling and I try to do two big trips per year but is there anything worse than jet lag? When you live in Australia, it’s even worse because any overseas trip is becoming a real adventure with minimum 15-20 hours in planes, and airports, yeah!
Like you, I carry in airports a ridiculous leopard print pillow and I take those ‘natural’ herbs sleeping pills. As your ‘tech girl’ I asked myself: Can I fight jet lag with an Apple store app?
So I did some research, and I was surprised to find lots of jet lag apps, I had to dig a bit deeper and I found it! Jet Lag App says they are the best solution available today to prevent jet lag.
– Jet Lag App helps to reduce the symptoms of jet lag in an easy and effective way.
– All you have to do is to fill in your departure and arrival information, Jet Lag App will do the rest!
– In a blink of an eye you will receive your jet lag reducing advice.
Every flight you take is unique. Jet Lag App makes a distinction between long and short stay traveling, thus the app ensures the best possible advice for each situation. Jet Lag App’s unique algorithm calculates the best possible times to sleep, seek/avoid light and take your anti jet lag medication. Jet Lag App’s calculations are based on scientific research, ensuring the best results.
Long Stay Algorithm
Ideal for long flights and far destinations. This algorithm gradually helps you to alter your sleeping patterns. This will reduce the symptoms of jet lag.
Short Stay Algorithm
The unique short stay algorithm helps you to combat jet lag on short trips where the long stay algorithm is less effective.
The user friendly interface makes it very easy to calculate your travel advice. Jet Lag App features an export function that lets you export your advice and tips to your default calendar. Exporting the advice to your calendar will give you an easy overview of all the provided advice and how it fits with the rest of your schedule.
You can save important trips on your device. They will get synced via iCloud to all your devices. (Requires an internet connection).
To be honest with you, I haven’t tried yet this app. But I am going to Europe in two weeks and it will be a great opportunity to try this app, so stay tunes!
