This Viral Kitchen Gadget is Bridging the Gap Between Aperol Spritz and Hot Chocolate Season

Just because the Summer sun has set for the year, doesn’t mean we’re ready to swap our icy cocktails for steaming cups of hot chocolate just yet. Especially if the new Ninja Slushi Professional Frozen Drink Maker – social media’s latest obsession and the answer to every transitional season craving- has anything to say about it! Whether you’re still clinging to February’s frozen margs or looking for a chilled-but-cozy caramel frappe to enjoy under a blanket in March, this machine delivers. And, with a 50,000-person waitlist across Australia and New Zealand, it seems like a lot of people out there are wanting to keep things refreshingly frosty a little longer…

The machine is quiet … but the buzz is real

After selling out in the UK and US in record time, the Ninja Slushi finally arrived Down Under. And, I was ready to get in on the action of viral drink maker that sold out in 12 hours. Delicious drinks aside, here are some of the tech specs that made me want to wax lyrical about it on WLT!

The Ninja Slushi uses trademarked RapidChill Technology, which means it freezes your drink of choice directly inside the machine. No ice, no blending, no fuss. Just pour your liquid in, select one of five preset programs (Slush, Spiked Slush, Frappe, Milkshake, or Frozen Juice), and let the magic happen. In about an hour, you have a perfectly textured frozen drink, ready to serve with the self-serve handle and no-drip spout. It’s ridiculously easy and incredibly satisfying to watch your concoction transform before your eyes.

One of the best things about the Ninja Slushi is its ability to keep drinks frozen for up to 12 hours. That means you can whip up a batch of frozen cocktails for a dinner party and still have them perfectly slushy well into the evening.

A perfect transeasonal tech trend

If you’re not quite ready to let go of Summer but also want a drink you can enjoy curled up in a blanket, the Ninja Slushi is the perfect way to balance the seasons.

And, for the sake of investigative journalism (and my own taste buds), I put the Slushi through its paces for proof. First up: frozen rose. The result? A smooth, perfectly chilled frose with zero ice chunks and just the right amount of slushiness. Next, I tested a homemade iced coffee frappe, which tasted like something straight out of a cafe – thick, creamy, and just sweet enough. Even a simple frozen Fanta turned out better than anything you’d get at a fast-food drive-thru.

A gadget worth raising a (frozen) glass to

At $499.99, the Ninja Slushi is a financial investment. But if you love frozen drinks and want to make them effortlessly at home, it’s worth every cent. Whether you’re blending up boozy slushies, creating healthier frozen sports drinks, or treating yourself to a thick, creamy milkshake, this machine delivers. No ice, no hassle, just perfect, icy deliciousness whenever you want it.
