Kao the Kangaroo is an endearing and easy 3D platform game in a similar style to Crash Bandicoot but with way less annoying music.

You might remember Kao from the Sega Dreamcast. You can collect coins and objects and punch your way through obstacles and battle adversaries.

Kao the Kangaroo features:

  • Beautiful and diverse worlds which are packed with secrets
  • Engaging and fun gameplay
  • Magic gloves stacked with powers
  • Challenging combat including unique boss battles
  • Lots of items to collect

Just pay attention to the purple-hazed areas. Look out for hazards, puzzles and foes.

The game has an engaging story filled with a cast of captivating characters, with Kao the Kangaroo standing out. He’s cheeky and brave, and I can’t wait for the merch.

The game is suitable for all ages and family-friendly.

I was surprised to discover after an hour or so, I had advanced through the game quickly.

Kao the Kangaroo is a great 3D platformer providing hours of entertaining gameplay.

Kao the Kangaroo will launch digitally and physically on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Epic Games Store on Friday 27th May 2022.

About Kao the Kangaroo
