Lenovo kicked off the year by announcing a new line-up of products for CES 2021, including laptops, monitors, and even smart glasses!
Lenovo ThinkReality A3
Our favourite product in the line-up is the ThinkReality A3 or rather what Lenovo describes as “the most versatile smart glasses ever designed.”
But why?
Let’s start with the fact that this product is worn like a pair of sunglasses but can also project multiple, large virtual monitors in its field of view thanks to 3D visualisation and augmented reality.
Users can “tether” their PCs or select Motorola smartphones to the ThinkReality A3 via a USB-C cable, and with that, they get up to five virtual displays each at 1080p. The 8MP camera also provides 1080p video for remote use.
“Whether working in virtual spaces or supporting remote assistance, the ThinkReality A3 enhances workers’ abilities to do more wherever they are,” said Jon Pershke, Lenovo Vice President of Strategy and Emerging Business, Intelligent Device Group.
Ultraportable and comfortable, these augmented reality (AR) glasses create a customized, expanded personal workspace anywhere, from a virtual monitor at home, to guided schematics on the factory floor.
