We use technology for everything these days, and ordering flowers online is one of the thousand options we have. Just a click to say Happy Birthday or Thank you to a friend on the opposite side of Australia. Ordering Flowers Online Never Been So Easy

It’s one of my closest girlfriend’s birthday soon, she lives in Melbourne and I am in Sydney – I love offering flowers to my friends. In France, it’s very common when you are invited to a friend’s dinner to bring a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers. For my friend in Melbourne, I would like to surprise her with some very nice flowers so I went to visit this lovely website: FRESH FLOWERS where you can order flowers online.

One of my favourite bouquets on the Fresh Flowers site is the Red Birthday Cupcake, so cute!

Do You Know Which Flowers Live The Longest

The Sunflower

This bold beauty is not as typical in a fresh flower arrangement as say, the rose, or the lily, however, the sunflower will brighten a room and send a light-hearted message of happiness that lasts much longer than some of its more common flower peers.

The Carnation

The carnation has been a classical choice for a long time, and part of the reason for this is surely its ability to last in an arrangement. They come in a wide range of colours and they will live in a vase for two weeks, sometimes even longer.

The Orchid

There is an extensive variety of orchids on the market and while not all of them are suitable to be cut flowers, the ones that are will be long lasting, they won’t fade or bruise and they will look absolutely stunning in your fresh flower arrangement. Orchids are elegant and timeless and they have an air of exclusivity about them.

The Chrysanthemum

Bold and vibrant with longevity to boot, if you want to make a long-lasting impact. They come in all sorts of shades, from a smoky pastel to an outrageous orange and they can last in a vase for more than a month.

The Rose

There is no more recognizable flower than the rose but while not uncommon in a bouquet and not unfamiliar in their message they do still offer an air of mystery and romance that no other flower can come close to.

Roses do last very well as a cut flower so they are not just visually stunning. The rose is also blessed with variety. The rose you choose doesn’t have to be the standard red as they come in many other lesser-known colours such as yellow, white, peach or pastel pink.

You can put a long-lasting twist on your selection by choosing one of these more uncommon versions of this timeless flower.

Next time you buy some flowers, keep in mind which one lasts the longest.
