The New Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Is Out And It’s A Thing Of Beauty

Lenovo ThinkPads have become the go-to workstations in offices across the world, and for a good reason – they’re premium laptops that are sleek, fast, and light. With the newest ThinkPad P1, Lenovo has upped its game in all of the above categories – the P1 is sleeker, faster, lighter, and it’s endorsed by the makers of Aston Martin!

The ThinkPad P1 is Lenovo’s thinnest, lightest and sleekest mobile workstation, combining style and performance in one ultra-premium package. With a signature black finish, glass touchpad, a seamless keyboard, and premium packaging, the ThinkPad P1 has all the high-end design specs that we have come to expect from Lenovo.

In addition to its graphics and processors (which are top-notch and powerful – 8th Gen Intel Xeon and Core processors, including support for the Core i9 CPU, among others), the P1 has a 15-inch, 4K UHD display (which represents 100% of the Adobe color gamut), as well as a touchscreen, IR camera standard, 4TB of M.2 PCIe premier storage and 64GB of memory at 2667MHz.

If all of this just feels like a lot of numbers, you’d be interested to note the attention to detail even in the way the power supply is designed – everyone knows that a thin, sleek and light workstation is of no use if it still comes with a bulky power supply. That’s why the ThinkPad P1 power supply is 35% smaller and lighter than its predecessors.

If all of these specs are as good as we think they are, then working on the ThinkPad P1 is going to feel less like work and more like test-driving a cool new car!

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is now available from $2799.

Lenovo also released the ThinkPad P72, which is purpose-built for anyone who’s looking for top of the line power and performance. A true desktop replacement, the P72 has a 17-inch chassis and includes the latest 8th Gen Intel Xeon and Core processors, as well as the most powerful NVIDIA Quadro graphics to tackle the most demanding workflows with ease. With up to 6TB of storage, 128GB of memory and 16GB of Intel Optane memory, this is the perfect laptop for those who have to handle immense data sets that require vast amounts of computing power.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P72 will be available this month, from $2599.
