This Biothermored Digital Moist Heat Pad Relieves Pain And Keeps Warm

You might be feeling a bit cold and lonely in your bed, so I was pleased to discover I could use my Australian Physiotherapy Association approved heat pad for keeping me warm, as well as easing my gym pain.

An instructional video about how Australian Physiotherapists use heat

The hardest part about deciding which one to purchase first is working out which part of your body hurts the most. The heat pads are available in the following sizes:

  • Shoulder and/or neck – think a large U shape: 58cm by 50cm
  • Large – for a large area of the body: 86cm by 36cm
  • Standard – middle back: 50cm by 36cm
  • Medium – a small area of the back: 36cm by 36cm
  • Small – neck, hand, shank: 38cm x 18cm
Which sized heat pad is right for you?

Did you know a shank is a part of the lower limb in humans between the knee and the ankle; It can also be just the leg.

I decided to purchase the standard one, and thought that I could always buy a second one if I really liked it.

Using the heat pad while sitting in a chair

I was unable to purchase a heating pad from my physio, so it arrived about a month later by courier. I opened the box and found an instruction manual (Australian version), which contains a warranty card at the back of the booklet. It also contained two pages of colour illustrated instructions on the ‘Correct Method to Use Your Biothermored’ (you might like to laminate this) and a product brochure.

It’s important to recognise that this a medical product and it must be used with the right instructions. It is a registered medical device in Australia and the company is registered as an NDIS Provider.

How to control the temperature and timeframe of the session

The heat pad comes with phone and email support, as required. You might like to watch these handy instructional videos explaining different features of the Biothermored Digital Moist Heat Pad.

I like to use my heat pad in between visits to my physiotherapist and after a hard workout at the gym. Highly recommended.
