Women Love Tech is excited to partner with SXSW Sydney for the first time. Join us on Tuesday, October 15, at the Novotel in Sydney’s Darling Harbour for an inspiring panel discussion and Happy Hour networking session on Empowering Women in Tech: Mentorship for Innovation and Leadership. This event will bring together leading figures in Australia’s tech industry to explore innovation, career development, and the transformative impact of mentorship.

The event offers a chance to connect and engage in pivotal conversations shaping the future of technology and is open to all SXSW Sydney ticket holders.

Women Love Tech Editor Robyn Foyster will emcee the panel. These include Rebecca Zeus CEO of BizCubed, Chiara Longhi, the Innovation Strategy GTM for Asia-Pacific & Japan at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Myles Lawlor, General Manager of Technology and Product at Alternaleaf.

“We are hugely excited about our partnership with SXSW Sydney and we’re proud to put together a panel of trailblazers in their field from tech giant AWS, data engineering firm BizCubed and Alternaleaf, Australia’s top alternative health business.

“During the session, we’ll take a deep dive into the skills needed to navigate such a fast-paced industry, and how to stay innovative in an era of constant change. Our panelists will also share personal stories about their own journeys and challenges they have each faced.

“This is a topic close to our hearts at Women Love Tech as we are planning to launch our own online mentoring platform to support women in their career trajectory.”

Not only will our event be a destination to listen to thought-provoking conversations, but it will also offer networking opportunities to meet with like-minded professionals who can help you take the next step in your career.

Besides learning from industry experts, attendees will leave with practical strategies for building a supportive professional network.

Make the most of our exclusive offer to get 10% off your SXSW ticket and join us at SXSW Sydney.

Event details:
Date: Tuesday, October 15
Time: 4pm – 5pm panel discussion, followed by networking drinks from 5.30pm
