Some of my friends were chatting about their favourite super chill video games, and here’s what they jointly recommend:
Spiritfarer
Spiritfarar is a cozy management game about dying. You’ll play as Stella, a ferrymaster to the deceased. You’ll need to build a boat to explore the world. Then befriend and care for spirits before releasing them into the afterlife.
You’ll journey through mystical seas, farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook and craft. You can join the adventure as Daffodil the cat, in a two-player cooperative play mode. Then you’ll learn to say goodbye to your cherished friends. What will you leave behind?

Cosy Grove
Cosy Grove is a slice-of-life game about camping on a haunted island. Play as a Spirit Scout exploring the island. Each day you’ll find hidden secrets and meet spectral inhabitants. Your aim is to help soothe the local ghosts and bring joy back to Cozy Grove.
The game features beautiful hand-drawn landscapes and dozens of memorable characters and spirits. Enjoy over 40 hours of play.

A Short Hike
A Short Hike is an exploration game about hiking up a mountain. You’ll explore the landscapes of Hawk Peak, Provincial Park. You can follow the marked trails or explore the backroads to make your way up to the summit. You’ll meet other hikers and discover hidden treasures.
The game started life as a personal art project for game developer Adam Robinson-Yu. He was inspired by summer hiking trips and exploring forests. Mark Sparling created the soundtrack for the game.

Stardew Valley
After inheriting your grandfather’s old farm plot in Stardew Valley, you’ll need to bring it back to life. You’ll be raising animals, fishing and tending the crops.
Get to know the residents of Pelican town and customise your farmer. Watch out for the dangerous monsters and valuable treasures.
Since its release, the game has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

AER: Memories of Old
AER Memories of Old is a game where you play as a girl who can transform into a bird. You’ll be able to explore a world of floating islands and uncover hidden secrets. Enjoy a pilgrimage of mysteries, puzzles and temples.

ABZU
ABZY is a stunning game that allows to you discover a lush hidden world under the sea. You’ll discover ancient secrets and cute sea animals.
The name references a concept from the oldest mythologies. It is the combination of the two ancient words AB, meaning ocean, and ZÛ, meaning to know. ABZÛ is the ocean of wisdom.

Littlewood
Littlewood was a game developed by Sean Young after a successful Kickstarter campaign. You can explore the world of Solemn. Wander through enchanted forests, dark mining caves and bustling fishing towns. You can collect rare items and materials to become the hero of your town.
Animal Crossing
Animal Crossing is a super popular game where you’ll make friends with adorable animals in the village. #animalcrossing #ACNH
