Chocolate goes digital? Well, that’s a delicious (kinder!) surprise. And, if the latest project by the world’s most famous chocolate & toy manufacturers is anything to go one, certainly one kids – and their parents – will happily sink their teeth into. Created in collaboration with family-friendly app Applaydu, here’s how Kinder Natoons Cubs creations collaboration seamlessly blends fun, education, and technology, to encourage kids to explore the animal kingdom through interactive, augmented reality experiences.

When imagination meets AI

Kinder’s Natoons animal cubs, hidden inside each chocolate egg, bring joy from the moment they’re unwrapped. And, it’s not just because they’re accompanied by a sweet treat! Now, with Applaydu’s 3D scan feature, kids can bring their animal toys into a vibrant digital world. A quick scan brings each toy to life onscreen, interacting in a digital world made for them. This AR experience amplifies Kinder’s joy of discovery, letting kids engage with virtual animals in playful ways. They can even speak to their toys, which repeat their words in fun voices in nature-inspired AR environments.

Season 4 of Applaydu introduces Edulands, a digital universe designed to spark curiosity about nature. Each island in Edulands features unique themes, from jungles to savannas, inviting kids to learn about animals and habitats. This immersive world encourages children to explore and learn through play, blending chocolate joy with a passion for discovery.

Customisable creativity

Applaydu lets kids express creativity with customisable avatars, unique character combinations, and interactive activities like drawing animals. Kinder’s approach encourages learning through play, making each interaction a personalized, engaging experience. Kids can unlock surprises by scanning toys or completing activities, recreating the excitement of opening a Kinder Surprise egg with digital fun and a chocolatey twist.

Sweet security

Kinder understands that parents value a safe, creative environment for their children. Applaydu is designed with young children in mind, featuring an intuitive interface that’s easy to navigate and free from competitive pressures. With no ads, no in-app purchases, and the option to play offline, Applaydu provides a stress-free environment where kids can explore at their own pace. Kinder and Applaydu emphasise creativity and exploration, allowing kids to fully immerse themselves without the distractions of leaderboards or competition.

Kinder’s Natoons collection and Applaydu app represent a delightful fusion of tradition and technology, enriching children’s playtime through innovation. In this world where chocolate meets AI, kids learn about nature, animals, and creativity, turning every surprise into an adventure of discovery.
