A Perfect Father’s Day Gift For The Dad Who Won’t Put The Volume Down While Watching YouTube Videos

There are many things I love about my father. He is humble. He is kind. And, he makes an excellent wood-fired pizza (love you Dad!). But there’s no denying that his habit of watching YouTube videos at maximum volume can be more than slightly infuriating. His logic: he needs to pay attention to the grandkids (fair enough). And, he can’t stand itty bitty pods (Given he was born pre-1990, that one’s valid too). So were the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones specifically made with Mr Senior Issa in mind? Well, probably not. But if over-ear headphones with lossless audio and Active Noise Cancellation fit, then let’s just say Dad was happy to wear them. Here’s everything you need to know that helped me finally enjoy a full episode of “Wednesday” in peace…

The Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones deliver Adaptive EQ that tunes sound in real time, fully adaptive Active Noise Cancellation that silences the chaos, and Transparency Mode so the user can hear what they need – like the grandkids shouting. And what they don’t (ie – my mother asking him to take out the bins).

The sound is mind-blowingly clear. Highs sparkle, mids are rich, and bass hits just right. Especially for a YouTube aficionado who has discovered just how many old-school Arabic telenovelas live on the platform. Did my father care that he was wearing an impressive headset where Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking adds a subtle cinematic effect? Meh. Probably not. But, could I see his eyes light up every time he tuned into another episode of Al Hayba? Yes. Yes I could.

Battery life on the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones is impressively long: up to 40 hours total, or up to 24 hours when ANC or Transparency Mode is enabled. Fast Fuel gives 10 minutes of charge for up to four hours of playback. This means Dad can binge-watch for a week without needing to plug in. Charging is done via a sleek USB-C cable, which he called “fancy, very fancy.”

Calls are crystal clear thanks to upgraded voice-targeting microphones. The vacuum, the kids, the barking dog? Gone. Even Dad’s calls with relatives overseas now sound professional. He was genuinely impressed by how the headphones filter background noise while isolating his voice.

Comfort is another win. The Studio Pro are over-ear with UltraPlush cushions and adjustable sliders, making hours of listening effortless. Dad’s stubborn ears had no complaints. Venting and ergonomic design keep things airy and snug, perfect for marathon YouTube sessions.

Controls are clever. The “b” button lets Dad pause, skip, or answer calls, while simple volume presses sit above and below it. He can also just say “Hey Siri” when he’s in the mood to go hands-free. Adaptive EQ automatically tunes the sound based on fit, so every note comes through perfectly.

The Beats Studio Pro come in four colours: Black, Deep Brown, Navy, and Sandstone. Stylish enough for any dad, whether he’s blasting music or scrolling through his favourite playlists.

Finally, these headphones are environmentally conscious: packaging is 100% fibre-based, using recycled material and wood from sustainable forests. Even Dad, usually indifferent to sustainability, gave a reluctant nod of approval.

So, would I recommend the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones for Father’s Day? Absolutely. Whether your dad is an audio obsessive, a multi-tasking grandparent, or just refuses to turn it down, these headphones deliver. Dad’s verdict: “Fancy, comfy, and makes everything sound incredible. I actually want to wear these.” And, for the first time in memory, he voluntarily turned down the YouTube volume.

Happy Father’s Day Dad!
