Our founder
Robyn Foyster is one of Australia’s most experienced journalists and the only person to have edited and published the country’s three biggest magazine brands: The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day and New Idea. She was named Editor of the Year at the 2007 Magazine Publishers’ Awards, voted one of B&T’s 30 Most Powerful Women in Media, and is a winner at the 2025 Samsung IT Journalism (Lizzies) Awards. Her technology credentials run deep: she served on the board of an ASX-listed tech company, was Managing Director of AR Technologies — where she led the team behind the 2019 Vivid Sydney app — and founded the AR shopping app Sweep, a 2019 Finder Awards finalist. She founded Foyster Media in 2014 and has judged the Telstra Business Awards for eight years.
