Installation
I didn’t read the instruction booklet at all and the treVolo was up and running in less than 3 minutes – this speaker is one of the easiest I’ve ever had to set up.
- Simply charge the treVolo with a lovely Blue Light, unplug it and listen to music anywhere you like.
- On your phone, turn the Bluetooth on and link to BenQ treVolo – if not there is a button at the back of the unit to connect Bluetooth!
- Unfold the Electrostatic side panels and that’s it.
- Play music and enjoy one of the most beautiful-sounding portable speakers. I was surprised to receive a call on my mobile and the treVolo acted as a portable mobile speaker and microphone.
Colours
The speaker comes in two colours, Black and Silver. I prefer the Silver as it’s more feminine.
Good To Know
If you enjoy listening to quality music without waking up the neighbours, treVolo is perfect because it isn’t very loud. So your husband or boyfriend can’t annoy you with his music if he attaches his device to it. Big thumbs up to the ladies BenQ!
Technology Sound
treVolo is the first portable speaker available with the same technology as high-end listening room speakers. It utilizes a quad amplified design utilizing active electrostatic panels, high quality woofers, and large radiators for compelling audio enjoyment.
The sound is really clear due to its electrostatic panels but it doesn’t perform well with very loud music and BenQ accepts this. They are targeting those with an ear for quality and clarity, rather than thumping base. So it’s perfect for the office or home.
How Electrostatic Works
Electrostatic drivers emit sound freely forward and backward, so the treVolo has a more spacious, natural sound than traditional speakers. Conventional full-range drivers emit sound only forward; sound coming from the rear of the driver resonates inside the enclosure.
