We all know the feeling of scrolling through Netflix for hours on end trying to find the perfect movie or TV show to watch. You find one, but your partner doesn’t like it. Your partner finds one, but it doesn’t interest you in the slightest. You go back to square one. Flikku, a new streaming app, is putting an end to all arguments of what to watch.

Now, more than ever, we’ve been stuck inside binge-watching Netflix and Disney + series and movies to pass the time. Finding something that everyone likes can be difficult and time-consuming. Flikku essentially helps you find the perfect movie or TV show based on your preferences across a multitude of streaming services.

Majority of people don’t stick to just one streaming platform, they have multiple to choose from. Many have subscribed to Netflix, Disney +, Apple TV+, ABC iView, and more, so that they have more to choose from. But with more choice also comes more potential for disagreements.

Lachlan Ratjens, flikku Co-founder and Managing Director explains that “Flikku makes it easier to navigate all the content out there by giving intuitive recommendations, whether you’re watching alone or with others.”

How the app does this is by linking accounts together via a group session where it then considers each person’s preferences and compiles a list of recommendations for everyone in the group.

The app is available for free on iPhone devices on iOS 12.4 or later in the Australian App Store. Download it here.
