Forbes 30-under-30 franchise is a global platform that aims to celebrate young game changers across diverse industries.

This year, the media giant is responding to global events with the launch of their first ever exclusively female summit.

The Under30 Women’s Summit will take place between March 31 to April 4, 2019, in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Maggie McGrath Editor for Forbes Women says that although this year promises to be a defining one for women, with historic numbers of women heading to congress and running for president, the change has not been reflected in venture funding.

She explains “despite our global progress,  only a small percentage of venture funding is going to women-led startups”. She feels the “Under30 Women’s Summit” will help close the gap by shining a light on successful young female entrepreneurs.

Speakers so far include Aleen Kuperman Co-Founder and CEO of rapidly growing millennial focused media sight Betches Media and Karen Dolva, the Norwegian CEO and Cofounder of social technology company No Isolation.

The Forbes Under30 summit aims to celebrate women who have achieved success in competitive industries and inspire those who aspire to attain it.

McGrath says that by “bringing together the best minds in business from around the globe, we’ll foster candid discussions about the ways in which women are harnessing their power to reshape the way we invest, invent and live. Our hope is that these discussions shine a brighter spotlight on many issues including the need for more investment in women at every stage of their career.”
