Women Love Tech Editorial Tech Guidelines

Editorial style notes:
Our tone is engaging, helpful and friendly. We’re like a trusted friend or relative who provides positive inspiration in your life and leaves you feeling uplifted.
We keep it simple and relatable. We write for a general audience, not experts.
We’re positive and warm. We can be funny and irreverent. We’re objective. Our coverage is independent and factual.
We’re non-judgemental. We respect everyone’s decisions. We are apolitical and non-religious.
All articles are edited for clarity and fact checked.
Once Women Love Tech articles are published, we’ll share it on our social media. Of course, we also welcome our contributors to share their articles separately on and tag us.

Each piece should:
Be written in first person
Be between 350-600 words
Not be published anywhere else (with the exception of book excerpts)
Include relevant links / graphics / embeds that relate to the subject matter
Include a hi-res colour headshot and brief author bio (approximately 150 words) which can include links to relevant social handles.
