How Cloud Nine is Using Tech to Transform You Into Miss Universe Australia*

Things I have in common with former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Molly Rogers… Not a whole lot! One issue we do agree on? The amazing ability of the CLOUD NINE Temperature Calculator to help you work out the right heat to style your hair. Here’s how the popular styling device is using tech to work smarter. Not hotter.

The heat is on

Blankets and fireplaces are a necessity as the temperature drops. But, the same cannot be said about increasing the degree of our hair styling devices. This is because styling hair at the wrong temperature can lead to unnecessary damage. Over time, excessive heat can leave your hair looking dull, brittle, and prone to breakage. That’s where the CLOUD NINE Temperature Calculator comes in.

Personalised recommendations for healthy hair

Using the CLOUD NINE Temperature Calculator is easy. Simply head to cloudninehair.com.au and input information about your hair colour, texture, styling routines, and any treatments you may use. In exchange, you’ll receive a customised heat setting tailored specifically to your hair needs. After all, given that your hair is one in eight billion, it only makes sense that your styling routine should be customised accordingly

What works for me

Former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Molly Rogers and Married at First Sight contestant Janelle Han recently put the CLOUD NINE Temperature Calculator to the test and found the right heat for their hair. So, I knew I was in good hair company. And, was excited to see how the calculator would work on the locks of mere mortals. Based on my input – curly hair. Albeit in denial. Mid-back length. A medium, mousey brunette. With hair concerns around frizz – the CLOUD NINE Temperature Calculator took approximately 0.00001 seconds to determine I was the lucky recipient of Type 3A Hair. And, would benefit from keeping my optimal styling temperature at 180 degrees.

But wait… there’s more!

The team at CLOUD NINE then did one better and emailed me their suggestions for the CLOUD NINE product that would do their best to transform me into a Miss Universe. Including the Original Iron, The Wide Iron and the 2-in-1 Contouring Iron Pro. And while at time of publication, I will not be participating in Ms Universes’ swimsuit competition, I am quietly confident my hair looks so good, you could say I’m on Cloud Nine.
