“Jumping” Through Hurdles to Find a Job? This Female Entrepreneur Co-created an App to Make it Easier

Given that we we live in an era, where food, transport and even love are often a simple swipe away, it’s somewhat surprising that finding work isn’t as simple! Hoping to change this is Krys and Adam Francica. A husband and wife duo who created JUMP – the groundbreaking job hunting app revolutionising the way businesses and workers connect in the hospitality industry.  And, hoping to create a movement towards empowerment and flexibility for everyone involved in the process.

Small steps and big jumps

The journey of JUMP began with a step away from the pair’s humble beginnings at KFC (Krys) and Bunnings (Adam) to ventures in education and electrical work.

However, it was here that Krys and Adam’s entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering dedication led them to the realisation that the traditional approach to staffing in hospitality was outdated and ineffective. Thus, the idea for JUMP was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between businesses in need of skilled labour and workers seeking flexibility and opportunity.

At the heart of JUMP lies a commitment to empowerment. Unlike traditional HR apps, JUMP is designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind, ensuring that businesses can seamlessly connect with qualified staff without disruption to their operations. Moreover, JUMP offers workers the freedom to take control of their schedules, selecting opportunities based on their individual preferences and needs.

An app that understands finding a job is hard work

Using JUMP is much easier than the old-school way of scrolling hundreds of job listings. Or, sending off your CVs to recruiters, and hoping for the best. Instead, users set up their profiles and preferences, answer verification questions, then simply select from available jobs that match their preferences. Upon completing a job, they receive fast payment transfers to their bank accounts, allowing them to enjoy their desired lifestyle.

How does JUMP work for employers seeking staff?

And, the good news for over-worked employers hoping to hire, quickly, the app is just as easy. In this instance, employers start by first setting up a business profile and preferences. Employers then post their staffing requirements and pay offers on the app. JUMP matches them with suitable candidates. Once the job is completed satisfactorily, JUMP transfers the funds directly to the worker’s bank account.

Helping women in the workforce

According to Krys, “JUMP is more than a platform. We are a community founded on empowerment and sound business sense that redefines power dynamics so everyone wins.

JUMP promotes transparency and control, enabling businesses and workers to navigate the ever-evolving hospitality landscape with confidence and efficiency. By combining operational efficiency with a commitment to empowerment, JUMP ensures that every interaction benefits all parties involved. At JUMP everyone wins.”
