Smart Looking Nokia Steel Activity And Sleep Watch Review

Nokia has released an activity and sleep tracker to help you move more frequently and sleep better. It features a patented Connected Movement Technology and syncs your information to the app to give you in-depth metrics.

The best feature hands-down of trialling the Nokia Steel tracker is that there is no charging involved. It’s just like a regular watch and looks beautiful too.

The interface is based on a traditional (analog) watch look. There are easy to read watch hands and lines for hours and minutes on the face. The face currently comes as white or black.

You can see at a glance what the time is and how have you have progressed towards your daily fitness goals (with the second sub-dial). There’s no need to press any buttons or check your phone.

The band is also like a normal watch with a metal clasp which is easy to adjust and open or close. The soft silicon strap is easy to clean, which makes the watch look professional and timeless. The band even comes in 9 different colours with some leather options.

The Nokia Steel smartwatch syncs with the Health Mate app, which is easy to use. You can see a detailed breakdown of your day and night with clear colour-coded graphs. The app rewards your achievements and offers you practical advice.

The app automatically tracks walk, run, swim, sleep, distance and calories burned. There is an option for enhanced activity tracking for detecting and learning – tennis, ping pong, squash, badminton, weight lifting, basketball, soccer, volleyball, dance boxing.

You can view your nighttime sleep with graphs featuring deep and light sleep, wake ups and sleep duration. Then you can wake up with a gentle vibration of the silent alarm.

Steel will automatically set itself to the correct local time which is perfect for frequent travellers.

One of the leading causes of abandoning trackers is the hassle of weekly charging. Nokia Steel overcomes this with a cell battery which lasts up to 8 months.

The Nokia Steel activity and sleep watch has stolen my heart as my favourite fitness tracker which I’m proud to wear at any occasion with the added bonus of no charging.
