Wickedbone is an intriguing pet tech product from Cheerble. It is one of the first electronic and interactive pet toys.
The toy is shaped liked a large bone with removable tires. Your pet can play via two modes:
- Drive mode – allows you to control the Wickedbone via the app and move it via a virtual joystick.
- Interactive mode – is a programmed mode designed to attract your dog’s attention. The Wickedbone then acts responsibly to different types of touch. It is designed to act in a playful manner as a way to facilitate play with your dog.
How Does Wickedbone Work?
The Wickedbone has two-way communication – it can react to your dog’s movements and encourages them to move and play around. You can adjust the settings for playing on different ground and situations. It has a maximum speed of 3.5 metres/second.
The Cheerble Wickedbone box contains the bone, a USB charging cord, user manual, and a quick start guide. The toy is safe and strong for all dogs. It is made of polycarbonate and TPU.
Cheerble Wickedbone Setup
You can set up your Wickedbone by downloading the app on Google Play or the App Store.
You’ll need to charge it up by connecting it to a USB port. The LED indicator light indicates the charge status, where yellow means charging and green means fully charged. Then you’ll need to open the App and touch it near the bone to connect.
You can charge it with the micro-USB charging cable. A full charge will last over 40 minutes in the drive mode, and over 4 hours in the interactive mode.
The tires can be easily removed for cleaning and replaced with different sets to create unique colour combinations.
It might work better if the sound came from the bone rather than your smartphone. The toy works best on hard flat surfaces including concrete and carpet.
