Startmate – a leading accelerator company backed by Blackbird, has announced its first all-women 3-month cohort aiming to provide women of all “all ages, races, cultural backgrounds” with amazing career opportunities at some of the best startups in Australia.

The program starts on March 23rd, 2020, and will run across Sydney and Melbourne. Participants will get first-hand experiences and insights, potential internships and one-on-one sessions with startups Eucalyptus and Dovetail and even unicorns like Canva.

Michael Batko, Startmate

“The Fellowship is perfect for anyone who thrives on autonomy, rapid growth, feedback and has always dreamed about joining a start-up with a world-changing mission,”

explains Michael Batko, CEO of Startmate.

You don’t need to quit your job to participate because it operates outside work hours, but applicants must be committed. Whether you’re looking for a new career path, returning from parental leave, accepted a new contract or in-between jobs; this is the program helping you find your dream job.

Participants will be required to pay a fee of $1000 for the program but have the chance of earning a scholarship (up to 10) and a paid internship will be offered throughout the program as well for financial remuneration. As a bonus near the end of the program, applicants can go on a trip to San Francisco for a separate fee.

“We focus on finding people who are passionate, tenacious, quick-thinking and hungry for opportunity, and then train them to be exceptional candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced start-up atmosphere,”

says Batko.

Applications are now open, so apply quickly before it closes! Click here to apply and for more information on the program.
