Binge Your Favourite Reality Television Shows with the Hayu App

Hayu is an entertainment app dedicated to reality and binge worth television shows. Did you know most people watching Hayu use a mobile phone or tablet?

“Over two-thirds of viewing comes from those devices, in particular phones and that is probably a reflection of our demographic. We target a young, female demographic 18-34. The average age of our viewers in Australia is 29. It is also a reflection of the content with people snacking when they have time perhaps on their way to work.”

The app was launched in March 2016 in the UK, Ireland and Australia. NBCUniversal owns the majority of the content on the hayu platform. In more recent years the content has diversified. Hayu has handy categories including new additions, The Real Housewives, True Crime, Celebrate Pride, Kardashian Kontent, Celebrate Black Stories, Love & Dating, Family-centric, Famous Faces, Workplace, Fashion & Beauty, Home & Design, Cooking & Food, Lifestyle, Music, Body Modification, Competition and Essential Hayu.

Every so often, I’ll enjoy watching ‘The Real Housewives’ (minus the wrap-up season endings), ‘The Only Way is Essex’ and ‘Made In Chelsea’. I’m looking forward to trying ‘Bad Girls Club’, ‘Southern Charm’ and ‘Vanderpump Dogs’. I’m a big fan of true crime, and there are over 50 shows to watch. I’m intrigued to catch up Kristin Cavallari’s new life in Nashville, many years after Laguna Beach. I’ve already watched ‘So Cosmo’ which promises to give you a glimpse into the lives of movers and shakers at Cosmo magazine. It was enjoyable but don’t get too attached as it’s just one season.

If you enjoy a little bit of glitz and a whole lot of glam, then you might like to binge on ‘Jerseylicious’, ‘The Rachel Zoe Project’, ‘Nail’d It!’, ‘Making a Model’ with Yolanda Hadid, ‘Queer Eye’, ‘Hollywood Style Wards’, ‘Strut’ and more. I lost interest in the ‘Kardashians’ and ‘Vanderpump Rules’ after the first season. But perhaps these binge-worthy shows interest you.
