Tis the season to eat, drink, and be merry! However, busy schedules, Summer celebrations and the temptation to tuck into endless treats can easily throw off even the best-intended health goals – and leave you feeling like you’re stuck on Santa’s naughty list. Fortunately, Cured – a new holistic wellness app by Asha Walker – is to help you navigate wellness in a way that fits your lifestyle. Even during the Silly Season.

Ho, Ho, Healthy apps

Asha Walker, a wellness entrepreneur and certified holistic health coach, is the force behind Asha Walker Wellness (AWW), and her latest creation, Cured, promises to make it easier than ever to stay on track with your health. With over 70 modules (that’s a year’s worth of content!) focused on food, movement, and longevity, Cured is perfect for anyone – whether you’re an experienced wellness warrior, or simply someone starting on their health journey.

During the festive season, it’s easy to fall into unhealthy habits. Whether it’s skipping workouts due to travel, overindulging in holiday treats, or struggling to get enough sleep, Cured helps you regain control. What makes this app stand out is its personalised approach. Instead of offering generic advice, Cured takes into account your unique wellness needs. From hydration and sleep hygiene to mindfulness and movement, each module provides practical tips, goal-setting features, journaling prompts, progress tracking, and gentle daily reminders – all designed to make healthy habits easier to maintain, even when things get busy.

Health advice that sleighs …

Cured is also focuses on the “why” behind wellness practices. Most wellness apps just tell you what to do, but Cured encourages you to understand why each practice works and how it can improve your life. It’s not just about following instructions – it’s about exploring the root causes of your imbalances and making sustainable lifestyle changes. This deeper level of insight helps you stay motivated, even during the holidays, and makes it easier to integrate holistic wellness into your daily routine.

“I created Cured out of my desire to help others lead healthier, happier lives,” said Asha. “The app is a wellness switchboard, an interactive library that puts users in the driver’s seat of their wellness journeys. Cured users become their own health coaches, their own healers, their own cure.”

All I want for Christmas is to help others …

In addition to creating Asha Walker Wellness, Asha is also the founder and CEO of Health in the Hood, a non-profit organisation that promotes equal food access through urban vegetable gardens, fitness classes, and wellness programmes. Her mission is simple: to create a ripple effect of health. By helping others feel better, Asha believes we can all live better, happier lives.

“We all have the power to spread the ripple effect of health,” Asha continued. “When we feel better, we live better. When we approach ourselves and the world around us with love, we get it right back.”
