Google’s Big Product Reveal – Find Out What’s In Store

Nearly a year ago, Google launched its first branded “Google phones”, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL and Google Home. It was move that showed the internet giant was getting serious about designing their own devices.

Now the company is launching a new generation of Pixel devices and other products. Here’s what the recent product reveals included.

Google Pixel Phones

At the forefront is the new Google Pixel Phones, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Both of the phone’s features are improved. Offering faster performance, these phones run on powerful Snapdragon 835 chips. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will have curved OLED displays, waterproof bodies and potentially squeezable frames that lets user summon Google Assistant by simply squeezing the phone.

The Pixel 2 is made by HTC and Pixel 2 XL by LG. Expected prices are at $649 for Pixel 2 and $849 for Pixel 2 XL.

Pixel Chromebooks

A revamped version of Chromebook is to launch. Google’s Pixelbook will feature a high-end performance, with a 2-in-1 convertible design, complete with touchscreen and special Pixelbook Pen.

While of the first generation of Chromebooks typically runs on web-based applications, the latest Pixelbook is different.  It is said that this ultimate premium Chromebook could launch a new hybrid software that blends together with Chrome OS and Android for more robust app functionality.

Google Home Max and Mini

Google’s Home Smart Speakers will expand into a whole family of products. The company is reportedly developing and may release a small and large versions the speakers, Google Home Max and Mini.

Google Home Max is sort of a “premium” product and it could be more expensive than the previous version, Google Home. Whereas the Google Home Mini is a smaller and cheaper version of its Google Home Smart.

Daydream and ARCore

Google’s Daydream VR headset is about to turn a year old, so the company developed three new models that comes in 3 colours – charcoal black, fog grey and coral. There’s no official word yet as what kind of upgrades to expect but let’s just look forward to what Google will say.

Aside from that, Google’s ARCore technology which is rumoured to compete with Apple’s ARKit will also be unveiled with improvements. This update enables developers to create all kinds of cool AR experiences. Google has released this technology first in August and this coming big reveal, we hope to expect to witness some substantial demos in action.
