It might be time to upgrade your Fitbit, because the world’s leading global wearables brand has just released the latest evolution of its Charge family of devices – the Fitbit Charge 3.
The Charge has been Fitbit’s number one fitness tracker, and it’s now better than ever with:
- Premium swimproof design and a touchscreen display.
- A variety of exercise modes, and the ability to stay connected on the go.
- A battery life of up to 7 days, which is ideal for smartwatch users.
- Fitbit’s most advanced sensor and algorithm technology in a fitness tracker.
The details are very impressive as well – the lightweight materials used to build it include an aerospace grade aluminium case and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display (which has given it a slimmer, modern silhouette, and made it a more comfortable fit for women as well!). The touchscreen display is nearly 40% larger and brighter than the previous model, which is really neat because it manages to make it more intuitive to look for information on that screen now.
There’s also a Sleep Score beta feature, to help users better understand sleep quality. And sleep isn’t the only thing the Charge 3 will track. An upcoming female-friendly feature includes being able to use the Fitbit app to log your period and ovulation, as well as record symptoms and compare cycle trends over time.
The Fitbit Charge 3 is compatible across most Android and iOS devices, and will be available for $229.95 starting November 2018.
