Geelong Women In Business aims to empower, to educate, to inspire and to help grow micro to small businesses in Geelong. and we do that by having a kick ass membership and having lots of resources from accounting, SEO, to social media advice.

The purpose of that is to give them that bit of confidence to really get their name out there and put their business out there and to really collaborate and to capitalise the community we have out there in Geelong to start up and grow businesses.

Geelong has always been known as a manufacturing city. Today that has incredibly changed. So what the real buzz in Geelong now is this tech start up, tech savvy, innovative and creative town that is drawling in the likes of Steve Wozniak, cofounder of Apple.

We are seeing a huge inflow of businesses moving into Geelong. Now there has got to be a good reason for that and I think that it’s because we are embracing it (technology). We believe in it. We are driving it. And it’s starting to become branded around Geelong and who we are and I am stoked to be part of that.
