Logitech Is Closing the Gender Gap in Tech Leadership … And Cutting Emissions While It’s At It

Logitech FY26 Impact Report

If you’ve ever wondered what a more balanced tech industry actually looks like in practice, the new Logitech FY26 Impact Report is worth a look. The company has hit 50% female leadership and 36% female board representation – numbers that put it well ahead of most of the tech sector, where women remain significantly underrepresented in senior roles.

It’s a milestone that matters beyond the boardroom. Representation at the top shapes the products that end up in our homes, offices, and gaming setups — and Logitech’s report suggests that when diverse voices are steering decisions, sustainability tends to follow.

Doing Good for People and the Planet

Logitech’s leadership push comes alongside serious environmental progress. The company has cut Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 49% and Scope 3 emissions by 33% compared to its baseline years – a reduction it credits to a company-wide “Design for Sustainability” philosophy that touches everything from product design to packaging.

“Over the past two decades, Logitech has increasingly placed sustainability at the heart of our business,” said CEO Hanneke Faber. “We embed our Design for Sustainability practices into every aspect of our business, from our values to our global supply chain, because doing good for people and the planet is good for business.”

What That Looks Like on Your Desk

For everyday consumers, the impact shows up in tangible ways:

  • 81% of Logitech products are now made with post-consumer recycled plastics
  • 69 product lines are supported by repair guides and spare parts through a partnership with iFixit — up from just two lines two years ago, meaning your gear lasts longer instead of heading to landfill
  • 55% of product lines are now PVC-free, up from 44% last year
  • 2,500 tonnes of packaging eliminated over the past three years by cutting things like plastic clamshells

The Bigger Picture

The results haven’t flown under the radar. Logitech recently landed in the top 50 of TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies list and made Newsweek’s World’s Greenest Companies roundup.

It’s a reminder that consumers are increasingly judging the brands behind their keyboard, mouse, or webcam not just on performance, but on who’s making the decisions and what those decisions cost the planet. On both fronts, Logitech says it’s making measurable headway.
