Meta just announced Movie Gen, a powerful new suite of AI models for generating and editing video and audio content.

Get ready to revolutionize your content creation game! Meta has just unveiled Movie Gen, a groundbreaking suite of AI models designed to generate and edit video and audio content. This powerful new tool positions Meta as a competitor to industry leaders like OpenAI’s Sora.

So, what’s in the box? Movie Gen comes equipped with four advanced models: a 30B video generation model, a 13B audio model, a personalized video model, and a cutting-edge video editing model. Imagine generating stunning HD videos up to 16 seconds long simply from text prompts, complete with synchronized audio like sound effects and background music.

But that’s not all. Movie Gen takes video editing to the next level with its ability to handle natural text prompts and even lets you upload a reference image to create personalized videos. According to Meta, the model outperforms other big names like Runway Gen3, Luma Labs, and OpenAI’s Sora when it comes to human video quality and consistency evaluations.

Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s CEO, shared the news that Movie Gen will be ‘coming to Instagram next year’ in a post showcasing some impressive sample generations.
