The  OPPO A60 5G offers a durable, high-quality design with cutting-edge technology at a pocket friendly price.

Built with a double tempered glass screen, which has received MIL-STD 810H Certification for Military-Grade Shock Resistance, ensures reliable protection from those everyday drops that can be costly.

Additionally, the mobile is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance, safeguarding against spills from hot or cold liquids such as coffee, tea, or other spillage.

The innovative Splash Touch feature also enhances touch accuracy when the screen is wet, allowing users to operate the phone smoothly in outdoor settings, such as after swimming or when caught in the rain.

Long-lasting Battery Life with Efficient Charging

The OPPO A60 5G provides a solid offering of up to 14 hours of video playback on a single charge, ensuring extended battery life for daily work and entertainment. The battery is designed for extended longevity, maintaining at least 80% of its original capacity for over 1,600 charge cycles, which equates to four years of standard use.

Enhanced Gaming and Entertainment Experiences

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Mobile Platform, I found this phone delivered a really smooth 5G experience, helped by the fact its supported by OPPO’s AI LinkBoost technology which supports better network performance in challenging conditions. It also features a 120Hz Ultra Bright Display, providing a smoother and brighter viewing experience with up to 1,000nits of peak brightness. It comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM, expandable by an additional 4GB of RAM.

Let’s talk cameras

The OPPO A60 5G has a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera and a 5MP Selfie Camera, enabling users to capture high-quality images and videos. Features like AI Portrait Retouching and Turbo Torch with four adjustable brightness levels ensure makes this model useful for a variety of photography needs, whether for social media, work, or personal use.

Sleek and Slim Designs

One thing I’ve always loved about OPPO moviles is its design legacy which is both sleek, with a lightweight frame, and this phone is no different. Measuring just 7.68mm in thickness, the model offers a comfortable grip with its streamlined side frame, weighing approximately 187g. The A60 5G is available in Nebula Red and Ocean Blue, but of the two my vote goes to the Ocean Blue which is super pleasing to the eye. There is also an OPPO Glow process that both colours are built with that delivers a shimmer effect that’s resistant to fingerprints.

Pricing and Availability

OPPO A60 5G: Available in Nebula Red and Ocean Blue. RRP: $299

Retailers: JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Big W, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, and OPPO Australia Online Store
