OPPO has released the latest addition to its A Series of mobile phones- the A76. This smartphone is the first A series device to be equipped with OPPO’s SUPERVOOC fast charging technology which allows users to stay connected wherever they are and it comes with increased battery life, enhanced features for gaming and Artificial Intelligence for retouching your photos.

Fast charging technology means a 5-minute charge gives you 3.5 hours talk time
The A76 has OPPO’s SUPERVOOC fast charging technology which means a 5-minute charge to its 5000 mAh battery gives the user over 3.5 hours talk time. As well, OPPO has worked on the battery performance and the A76 comes with features such as Super Power Saving Mode, Super Nighttime Standby and Optimised Night Charging, to give users a long-lasting experience.Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, users have the versatility and power for extended gaming and multimedia performance. The A76 offers 4GB + 128GB and allows microSD storage expansion up to 1TB. It also supports the RAM Expansion feature, which helps alleviate performance bottlenecks for memory-limited devices.
An upgrade for improved fluidity enhances user’s gaming experienceThe A76 has a 6.56-inch HD display which has an 89.9% screen-to-body ratio. When watching videos and playing games, the OPPO A76’s screen has undergone an upgrade for improved fluidity of onscreen interactions and gameplay, with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. As well, it’s fingerprint sensor is on the side of the phone.
The new OPPO A76 features OPPO’s proprietary Glow Design which means users will get a phone in new, brighter, textured colour options of Glowing Blue or Glowing Black. The phones are smooth to touch and fingerprint, scratch and dirt resistant.
Imaging features include AI natural retouching so you can remove blemishes
The A76 features Artificial Intelligence for natural retouching – a beautification technology which can remove blemishes while preserving the person’s natural facial features. Portrait shots are now brighter and clearer in dim environments with the help of the 360° Fill Light feature but beauty effects can be superimposed on top. The phone has a premium dual camera module layout with an 8MP front-facing camera with a pixel size of 1.12um and an aperture of f2.0, producing portrait shots up to 3264 x 2448 resolution. Various features have also been implemented to improve the quality of portrait shots using the A76, including the 360° Fill Light, AI natural retouching and High Dynamic Range.
The rear dual camera setup features a 13MP f2.2 main sensor on top and a 2MP secondary bokeh camera on the bottom, enabling users to leverage Portrait Mode for shallow depth-of-field shots where the bokeh looks more precise and natural, while the blurred edge processing adds more authentic detail.The camera also supports 6x digital zoom and up to 20 continuous burst shots. An AI Palette is included as an after-effect editing feature, where users can discover different colouring settings which allow them to create Instagram-worthy photos. Both front and rear cameras support HDR, which preserves details even under backlit shooting scenarios.
