The SmartCup is synced to the CafePay mobile app (available for both Apple and Android), and enables users the ability to pay cash free, by tapping the lid of the SmartCup to a sensor to process payments instantly and securely at participating cafes. Users simply load credit onto their account, and pay with the lid.
