Snap! Crackle! Pop! One of the world’s most Insta-worthy immersive experiences has just landed in Australia. And, if you’re looking for a day out that’s packed with colour, perfect for play, and practically made for your grid, then Bubble Planet promises to make your social media feed pop!

Already a smash hit in cities like Milan, LA, London, Brussels and Singapore, Bubble Planet made its Sydney debut this week. And, with more than 10,000 tickets already sold, it’s safe to say Aussies are ready to burst into fun.

Bubble Planet

Housed in the whimsical wonderland that is the Paddington Pavilion, this technicolour hashtag dream features over 10 immersive rooms bursting with larger-than-life balloons, surreal dreamscapes and interactive installations that practically beg you to Boomerang them. You’ll bounce between glowing balloon oceans, a mega bubble bath pit, and a VR-powered hot air balloon ride that’ll send your imagination sky-high.

Each dreamy room delivers a pop of magic – from the Infinity Room, a kaleidoscopic chamber of endless reflections, to the Bubble Ocean, where you’ll wade through a sea of floating orbs like an off-duty mermaid. The Soap Bubbles Room is pure childhood nostalgia in misty, soft-focus form, and the Sketch & Post station turns your doodles into digital sea creatures that swim across a projected reef. Who said your inner child doesn’t deserve a bit of screen time?

Other highlights include the Selfie Zone. Designed to be your next profile pic backdrop, every corner of this pop-tastic playground is lit, angled, and curated to serve main character energy. You’ll want to snap, post and repeat – because if a bubble bursts and no one posts it, did it even happen?

Whether you’re a VR voyager, a balloon buff, or just someone who needs a good excuse to roll around in a giant bubble pit, Bubble Planet is the ultimate feel-good day out. It’s equal parts art, fantasy and sensory play. And, just the pop of joy kids -of all ages – need.

Co-produced by global immersive powerhouses Exhibition Hub and Fever (the same team behind hits like Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience and Horizon of Khufu), Bubble Planet is staying in Sydney until at least 2026. But with plans to bubble over into other Aussie capitals soon, this pop-up experience is clearly here to float for a while.

Tickets are on sale now at bubble-planet.com/sydney.
