Canva and BubbaDesk: The Ultimate in Employee Benefits

Canva has just teamed up with BubbaDesk in a pioneering partnership that’s set to redefine how we think about employee benefits. Imagine a workspace where you don’t have to choose between career ambitions and parenting duties – thanks to this new collaboration, it’s no longer a distant dream but a reality for Canva employees in Australia.

So, what’s the big deal? BubbaDesk, a trailblazer in combining coworking spaces with onsite childcare, has joined forces with Canva, the global design powerhouse, to offer a host of exclusive benefits designed to make life easier for working parents. This move marks a significant milestone for both companies and sets a new standard for integrating family-friendly solutions into the workplace.

Exclusive perks for Canva employees

Starting soon, Canva’s Australian workforce will enjoy unique perks at BubbaDesk. Employees can look forward to a 10% discount on subscription memberships of six months or more. But that’s not all—there’s also a special two-for-one deal on casual day packs, where a purchase of a day pack gets them an additional day for free. It’s all about making the juggle of work and parenting a bit smoother and a lot more manageable.

Rebecca Partridge, Canva’s Benefits Program Manager, couldn’t be more thrilled about this partnership. “At Canva, we’re all about flexibility. Our team can work from a Canva campus, from home, or mix it up as they see fit. By partnering with BubbaDesk, we’re giving our parents and caregivers even more tools to balance their work and family life in a way that works best for them,” says Partridge.

Expanding horizons

But wait, there’s more! BubbaDesk isn’t just sitting on its laurels. The company is gearing up to open two brand-new locations in 2024 – one in Sydney’s Inner West and another in Brisbane. These new hubs will join BubbaDesk’s existing locations in St Leonards, Erina, Caringbah, and Wollongong, expanding its reach and making its unique blend of coworking and childcare accessible to even more families.

Lauren Perrett, the visionary behind BubbaDesk, shares her excitement: “Our partnership with Canva is truly a game-changer. It’s not just about providing a service; it’s about creating a community where working parents can thrive. The new locations in the Inner West and Brisbane are a huge step forward in making our flexible, family-friendly workspaces available to more people. As we wrap up our Series B funding, we’re ready to innovate and grow in ways that will continue to support working families.”

A new way to work … and parent

Founded by Perrett, who knows firsthand the challenges of balancing a career with raising young children, BubbaDesk offers a revolutionary model. Picture a workspace where you can work in a hot desk. Or private call room, while your little ones are cared for in a modern, fun environment right on site. Add in amenities like onsite gyms, and you’ve got a setup designed to support both productivity and family life.

Since launching in November 2022, BubbaDesk has quickly attracted attention, with over 3,000 families expressing interest and hundreds actively using the service. This innovative approach is resonating strongly with parents who need a flexible return-to-work solution that doesn’t compromise on quality or convenience.
