As hybrid work cements itself as the new normal, a growing gap is emerging between how people work and the technology they rely on. Speaking at a recent industry event in Sydney, Joseph Mingori, Vice President and General Manager of Mobile & Audio Solutions at Logitech, highlighted a major workplace challenge: while an estimated 40–60% of Australians now work in hybrid environments — with that figure continuing to rise — much of the technology supporting them remains outdated.
The result? Lost productivity, daily frustration, and significant financial inefficiencies for businesses.
Joseph says today’s professionals no longer want to choose between portability and performance. Instead, they expect technology that moves with them from home office to boardroom to airport lounge without sacrificing comfort or capability.
Business Formation “The modern worker wants premium design that feels personal,” he explained. “They want workplace-agnostic tools with no compromises — full capabilities, wherever they work.”
That shift is shaping how Logitech designs its next generation of devices. Rather than bulky equipment tied to a single desk, the company is focused on lightweight, durable products that deliver seamless performance anywhere.

The goal is simple but ambitious: make working from anywhere feel effortless.
For many workers especially women balancing leadership, caregiving, travel, and flexible schedules that evolution matters. Hybrid work promised freedom, but outdated tech can quickly turn flexibility into friction.
Logitech is betting that the future of work won’t just be about location. It will be about experience — technology that feels intuitive, personal, and powerful enough to keep up with modern life.
