Chipolo is a clever idea that allows you to keep track of your precious items. You can double click on their product to find your phone and reserve the process by using the app to ring your misplaced item.
Chipolo works by connecting to your phone via a Bluetooth signal.
Here is my review of the Chipolo ONE and Card:
Chipolo ONE Review
The Chipolo ONE tracker is ideal for your keys, a backpack or your bag. The round disc comes in a range of bright fun colours, including blue, yellow, red, white, green and black. It’s about as big as an Australian 50 cent coin but light.
Chipolo ONE features:
- Loud 120 dB sound for easier finding
- Replaceable battery, with up to 2 years battery life
- Purchase alone, or in a set of 4 or 6.
When you lift the tracker out of the box, don’t forget to grab turn it over and have a look at the instruction card tucked behind.
Chipolo Card Review
The Card is ideal for finding your wallet, phone, passport or remote control. It’s a little bit thinner than the other one so it’s more ideal for a small pocket.
Chipolo Card features
- Extremely thin
- I year battery, non-replaceable (but renewable)
Both trackers work within 60 metres line of sight. They are both voice-controlled and works with Siri, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa on smart speakers and mobile devices with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa app installed.
Chipolo item finders are compatible with devices running iOS 12 and later, and devices running Android 7 and later. For Chipolo to work, the device must also be equipped with Bluetooth 4.
“In our core, we’re simply family and friends. We’re passionate and ambitious about what we do, and we count on each other to keep our products simple, smart and most of all, reliable.”
Primož Zelenšek, CEO
If you’re a little forgetful or spend too much time looking for your misplaced keys, then a Chipolo tracker is a great addition.
