Huawei Australia launched the G8 smartphone and MediaPad M2 tablet, two premium devices for the budget-conscious consumer looking for value-for-money without sacrificing high-end features retailing at $599 and $499!

The G8’s classy all-metal body features an anti-shake enabled 13 mega-pixel back-facing camera, capable of ultra-low light shooting to capture memories anytime, anywhere. The superior camera is complemented by a full 5.5-inch 1080p display for an engaging viewing experience, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 – state-of-the-art glass with unsurpassed damage resistance. Vodafone Director of Sales, Ben McIntosh, said the company was excited to offer two impressive new Huawei devices that offer great value for money. “We’re big believers in offering our customers choice when buying mobile devices. The G8 and MediaPad M2 are great all-round devices that offer high quality features without breaking the bank.

“The G8 offers long battery life, a fingerprint scanner, a sharp screen and other premium features, proving that you don’t have to spend big to get a great smartphone,” said Mr McIntosh.

Prices & Avaibilities

The Huawei G8 (Dual Sim, 32GB White) smartphone will be available from 5 November 2015 for $599 RRP at national retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, and Dick Smith. Vodafone will offer the G8 (Single Sim, 32GB White/Champagne) as a carrier exclusive from 28 October, 2015 in stores and online for $0 on a $40 Red plan.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 (16GB, White) will be available from 21 October, 2015 at Vodafone stores and online for $17 on a $20 Mobile Broadband Plan over 24 months. The M2 (32GB, Gold) will be available at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, and JR Duty Free from 5 November 2015 for $499 RRP.
