Four New Aussie Designers Doing Amazing Things in Fashion and Tech

With Australian Fashion Week set to kick off next week, Sydney’s style set are eagerly awaits the unveiling of the next generation of New South Wales designers. However, for those who can’t secure from row seats to these shows, a few fashionable suggestions will also be on offer at the annual Future Fashion exhibition at Castle Hill’s iconic Powerhouse on Saturday June 1.

With a spotlight on sustainability, technical prowess and boundary-pushing concepts, this event promises to showcase the innovative creations and boundless creativity of emerging talents from Sydney’s leading tertiary institutions. And, is a testament to the vibrant future of Australian fashion. Among those to watch will be the four budding designers below. Who are poised to make their mark on the industry. And, offer fresh perspectives and bold visions that challenge the status quo.

Arman Martirosian – Whitehouse Institute of Design


Arman, a graduate from the Whitehouse Institute of Design, is poised to captivate audiences with his avant-garde approach to fashion. Drawing inspiration from the intersection of art and architecture, Arman’s collection promises to push the boundaries of form and structure. With meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for unconventional materials, his designs offer a fresh perspective on contemporary fashion.

Lina Yu – University of Technology Sydney
