Samsung has announced the release of its latest smartphone in the A-series, the Galaxy A3; equipped with a brand new display, rear quad cameras and a longer-lasting battery life.

Display

Galaxy A31

A big addition to the Galaxy A31 is its large 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. It gives users a much fuller viewing experience with its 20:9 aspect ratio that immerses you in whatever you’re doing, whether it be playing games or catching up on your favourite shows. As a bonus, it also features the high-quality audio performance of Dolby Atmos for a surround-sound experience.

More cameras, more stories

The Galaxy A31 has followed suit with some of the best smartphones on the market with the addition of the a quad rear camera. It features a main camera, an Ultra Wide camera, Depth camera and Macro camera.

Multi Quad camera

The main camera not only produces stunning images, but does so while adapting to your surroundings. With its AI capabilities, the Galaxy A31 optimises your camera to the specific setting, whether it be during your morning walk when the sun is shining, or late at night when the stars are twinkling.

The brilliant eight-megapixel Wide Camera is perfect for capturing even more detail thanks to its 123-degree angle view. The Depth camera is five megapixels and gives users the ability to give any of your portrait photos that extra professional look. With Depth activated, you can focus on your subject at hand and make them stand out with adjustable Live Focus effects. The Macro camera, also five megapixels, is more for when you want to pick up those very subtle, fine textures in your close-up shots. For example, it’s perfect for taking pictures of your aesthetic macarons!

If you’re a selfie-love, then you’re in luck because the 20-megapixel front camera lets you capture the look you want from any angle. Make yourself the centre of attention with Live Focus effects.

Performance

Besides the camera, the Galaxy A31 has also made the battery life a focal point. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this was a great idea, because the new large 5,000 mAh5 battery means that we can stay connected for longer and enjoy the things we love the most throughout the day. And when you do run out, the 15W fast-charge gets you replenished quickly to get you going again.

Additional features:

Game Booster
  • An AI-based Game Booster optimises settings to make mobile gaming the best experience possible.
  • The Galaxy A31 features a fingerprint scanner (on-screen) to unlock your phone.

The price is not yet available, but check out https://www.samsung.com/au/ for more updates and information.
